ABOUT ME

I'm slowing learning what life is really about, and it's been difficult. It's hard to let go of the things that comfort me in my everyday life, I'd like to meet more people like myself only more experienced and further along in life, who could help me on my journey.

My plans consist of volunteering overseas in places such as Tamil Nadu India, Togo, Sri Lanka, South Africa, maybe Ethiopia and maybe teach english to children in Krabi Thailand. I don't want my life to revolve around me but people, especially children, in other countries who need help.

I find it funny that when I told my friends back home that I wanted to travel the world they thought I was crazy, you have to be "rich" to do something like that. Thanks to this website and the amazing people who are members of it, that's not totally true :)

PHILOSOPHY

That's a hard question to answer, and I think I'm still trying to figure it out, but I think Atisha had a good guideline to go by.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to Indianapolis in June and couch surfed there. That was my first time doing it and I really enjoyed it, our hosts where great.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a sucker for old black and white movies, I would probably choose one of those over a newer movie. I love all the movies with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers acting together, they are my favorites.

I really do listen to anything, I've got favorites in just about every genre of music.

Right now I'm reading a book by Deepak Chopra, and recently picked one up by Thoreau and also a compilation of philosophy from Plato to Kierkegaard.

Teach, Learn, Share

Right now, I'm not in the position to teach anyone anything, I've got so much learning to do myself, and I'm really looking forward to it.
