Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I became interested in CS when a close friend here in Beijing began hosting travelers. I often get to meet people and would like to help travelers/be helped by like-minded people when I travel.
Interests
I love reading & writing, poetry, rock/alternative/indie music, tattoos, playing the keyboard, experimental cooking, board games, walking around and exploring. I don't smoke, but I drink socially and enjoy going out for meals.

Music, Movies, and Books
Real-life documentaries interest me more than other movies. I most often listen to: Tegan & Sara, Alt J, Arcade Fire, Angus & Julia Stone, Sigur Ros, Ellie Goulding, Cloud Cult, and Bon Iver.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most liberating feeling I've ever had came from an uphill scooter ride in Koh Phagnan, Thailand, off the beaten path. We were only shaded from the burning sun by the palm fronds surrounding us. The higher we rode up the mountain the more beautiful everything below it became, and the more likely I felt that we would soon begin rolling backwards, but we kept going up. Shortly after a man with six monkeys hanging off him rode past us in the other direction, I realized this moment was the reason I love traveling. I only hope for more amazing memories.
