ABOUT ME

Brian- I recently graduated from college, and now I'm looking to travel and experience the world. I consider myself to be a very outgoing and friendly person. I am a big talker and can talk about almost any subject for hours. I like a good beer and a good talk more than anything else. I'm a big competitor; I love board games, video games and sports. I played rugby while I was in college and loved it, and would love to participate in the local games, sports and cultures of wherever I visit. I am a pretty low maintenance guy, not much bothers me and I complain about less. I can cook a little bit and would love to learnmore. I am basically easy to get along with and I'm really looking forward to my Couch Surfing experience.Heather- I am just about to finish up grad school. By May 2012 I will have my Masters in Social Work. I am very excited about the prospect of seeing new and beautiful places. I love the outdoors and always enjoy having a drink with friends. I like to be challenged, but everytime I am confronted with one I always say to myself, "what did I get myself into". I smile a lot, I'm a big fan of flowers and when I am traveling I know I am going to miss my dog (who will be stuck at home) more than anything.

We are huge movie fans. We both love to go to the movies, watch movies, talk about movies and share movies with others. We both enjoy a wide range of movies Some of our favorites are Christopher Nolan's movies (Dark Knight,Inception, The Prestige), superhero movies, documentaries, adventure and more. Heather also enjoys Pixar movies and comedies in particular.We both love to read. Brian was an English Major and really enjoys pre 18th century English Literature, comics and fantasy novels like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. Heather is a huge fan of Harry Potter and reads all sorts of books ranging from modern novels to philosophy.As for music we prefer alternative rock but also enjoy other genres. A good song is a good song regardless of genre, but neither of us listens to just music. We usually have it as background music. Some of our favorite bands are The Killers Snow Patrol, Coldplay, Eminem, Beck, Goo Goo Dolls and Aerosmith
