ABOUT ME

We're a pair of schoolfriends who grew up together in a rural part of France and have kept in touch ever since. We've travelled around since then, moved away, studied separately, but we still share a love for languages and cultures that draws us back together. So we're off on our travels again and this time we're heading to Italy! Lisette has just obtained a degree in Literature, having spent 3 years studying in Strasbourg and one year abroad in Poznan in Poland. She's now about to head off to Montpellier to train as a primary school teacher. Heather's just graduated from Edinburgh Uni with a degree in German and Italian, but she's running away to London to become a stage manager instead of doing anything sensible ;) We'd really like to enjoy one last (Italian) adventure before real life begins though!

We're quite busy enjoying life at the moment, but when we have the time we'll develop one ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although we haven't been couchsurfing before, we both find the concept is an amazing one. Hopefully, as soon as our flats are inhabitable we'll be able to begin hosting people ourselves! In the meantime, we're looking forward to being able to bring to our hosts as much as they'll be able to give us in terms of cultural exchange.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Neither of us have been CouchSurfing before, but we've heard great things and we're hoping that this experience will be the first of many!
