Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See as many places, meet as many people, and learn as much as I possibly can.
ABOUT ME
I'm not very good at describing myself. It's probably best if you just meet me and form your own opinion, but I'll at least make an attempt. I love to learn, whether it's by reading, listening to the news, or just talking to people and listening to their stories. I love to travel. On any given day, I'm probably planning my next trip or counting down the days until the next one I already have planned. I really love Italy. I studied there for a year and nearly didn't come back. I also love pretty much everything that involves being outside--hiking, biking, camping, sailing, the list goes on. I prefer dinner parties and game nights to crazy parties and crowded bars. I'd rather pick up a book than watch TV. And I prefer salty/savor to sweets, although I do have a weakness for ice cream. Also, I'm an INTJ, if that means anything to you.
PHILOSOPHY
Live life fully. Laugh often. Create your own happiness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm still pretty new to this. I signed up for the site a while ago, but I'm just really started to utilize it now. I've recently started going to some of the CS events here in San Diego. My goal is to meet fellow travelers, make new friends, and experience new cultures.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None as of yet. Hoping to surf in the near future.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I like most books. Here are some that are high up there on my list: The Count of Monte Cristo, Jane Eyre, Rebecca, Game of Thrones series, Io Non Ho Paura
Music: To name a few: Ray LaMontagne, Paolo Nutini, The Black Keys, First Aid Kit, Little Dragon, The Civil Wars, Angus and Julia Stone, The Beatles, The Zombies, Fleetwood Mac,Queen, Depeche Mode (and pretty much anything from the 80's)
Movies/TV: I don't really watch a lot of movies. I tend to go more for TV shows since they are shorter and I can sit through them without getting antsy. Some of my favorites: Dr. Who, Sherlock, The IT Crowd, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I wish this section had a way to just put up a picture. I feel like that would be much more effective, ha. Anyways, the most recent exciting thing I've done was sail along the coast of Croatia for a week on a friend's boat.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I'm a certified yoga instructor. Although I haven't done much teaching as of late, I still remember a thing or two. I can also teach you some Italian. I've never officially given anyone lessons, but I'm at least qualified to cover the basics like "Hi, my name is..." and "Where's the bathroom?..."
Learn: Things I'm currently learning or want to learn in the immediate future: sailing, rock climbing, the piano (I'm actually relearning that one). Aside from that, I'm pretty much up for learning anything you're willing to teach me.
Share: I can share my stories, preferably while also sharing a good bottle of wine.
