ABOUT ME
Unicorn.... Hair and makeup artist in New York. I'd like to think I'm a pretty laid back kinda person all about going with the flow and natural vibe of things.. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories or things they've seen.. I've been known to travel around with a bag of props for my own and everyone else's entertainment haha something about pulling multiple hats out of your bag and being prepared for any fun activity just seems right haha I'm the kind of girl that can have fun staying in pjs all day, to dancing the night away. I think I've reached a point in my life where I stopped caring about what I'm gonna be when I grow up and have learned to just appreciate the moment I'm in..

I haven't hosted anyone yet as I travel a lot myself, but on the occasion that I am home, I'm more than happy to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed in NY, Portland Maine, London, and a good portion of Europe, Australia and south east Asia. I've never had a bad experience and have heaps of memories and new friends that I treasure still.

Interests

Love love love art, tattoos, going out and having a good time, love to meet new people and make new friends. In the process of writing a book. Can sit on a beach for hours. Travel to say the least.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not very big on TV I feel there are far better things to spend your time on rather than waste away in front of one but if I'm going to watch anything, I am a sucker for gory horror flicks.

Who can seriously pick just one type or genre of music?? Not me that's for sure haha. I listen to pretty much anything and enjoy it.

I don't read as often as I'd like to say I do but I can say my favorite author is Kurt Vonnegut. I don't know what it is about his writing, but I just love it. I haven't come across one of his books yet that I didn't fully enjoy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been sky diving which is pretty incredible itself, but I'd have to say to date the most amazing thing I've ever done was just leave my life behind to just start new in a place I've never been and don't know anyone. It's been a roller coaster so far and I'm proud of myself for going completely out of my comfort zone and trying something way out of the box.

Teach, Learn, Share

I was an art teacher for the department of education, and majored in art so I can definitely teach what you may want to know in that field. I am a certified English as a foreign language teacher. I do professional hair and makeup and have tried my hands at piercing and tattooing (didn't finish my apprenticeship though boo).

I'd love to learn as many languages as I can. I currently know very very tiny bits of French, Spanish, and Russian.
