Having fun and traveling while I study to go to grad school and become serious about life (ha! I'm always going to have fun and travel even when I become a fancy person with a masters)

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Boulder, CO, which means I will always have a little bit of hippy in me. I went to college at Smith College in western Mass where I majored in South Asian Religions with a concentration in women and minorities. But don't let that fool you into thinking I'm just a new-age, yoga-loving hippy. I love math and logic as well. I am currently studying for the GREs so that I can go back to school and get my masters in International Public Policy. My interests are in human/sex trafficking.

Interests

I absolutely love to travel and have been very fortunate to have had so many opportunities to do so. I love hanging out with my friends and family talking, playing cards, games (very into settlers of catan recently), I love the water and mountains.

Movies/TV shows: I am a fan of cheesy romantic comedies, i.e. When Harry Met Sally, Serendipity, You've Got Mail, Bringing Up Baby, French Kiss; animated kids' films, i.e. Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Up, Despicable Me; Silly Comedies, i.e. Dumb and Dumber, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, Super Troopers, Elf, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, This Is the End; T.V. shows: Friends, Dexter, Workaholics, Arrested Development

Music:I'm the cliché that says they like everything but here are some of my favorites: Tool, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Tegan and Sara, Lyrics Born, La Roux, The Black Keys, Nine Inch Nails, Dixie Chicks

Books: Christopher Moore (especially Lamb and Fluke), Harry Potter, Siddhartha, Janet Evanovich, fun easy reads for the most part

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 10, traveled with my family to the highlands of Papua New Guinea and spent time with the Huli tribe and other native tribes. It is not like anything I have ever experienced.
