ABOUT ME

I get bored quickly. I'm an adrenaline junkie. I love the extreme. I grew up wanting to be an adventurous archaeologist that jumped from a plane into remote areas of the world to dig up treasures from the past. My life up to this point has been like a movie. Over the past 7 years I settled down and streamlined but I wasn't happy. Just recently I've begun to change that. I'm now planning a cross country volunteer mission. The idea being that I'll hit the road for a year volunteering to help all that need a hand recording peoples stories along the way and sharing my experiences with the world. I want to open peoples eyes to other peoples situations, gain perspective, heal my own soul by helping others for nothing in return. Maybe I can earn a meal or a bed for the night or just the chance to talk. My husband is in the music biz and travels a lot so he won't be going with me but he is supporting me 100%!

PHILOSOPHY

Always listen to that little voice in the back of your head and TRUST yourself. I don't consider myself to be a simple creature. There are so many facets that I'd need a lot more time and space to tell you the Why, whens and hows. I'm a Scorpio if you believe in Astrology- that should explain a lot even if you don't believe.

Interests

I'm interested in experiencing all that life has to offer. I'll try anything once. I love sitting by the lake reading a book or learning to fly my own plane. From one extreme to another- I stay interested.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of movies except for gory horror like the Saw series. A movie should move you in some way and films like those, well..don't. My hubby is in the music biz so music flows through our house. We love music Period and choose not to limit ourselves with a specific genre or type but a lot of rock-n-roll and country gets played. But again sometimes we're in the mood for pop or classical, we love Sarah Brightman. I'm an avid fiction reader who has a tenancy to read a lot of scy-fi and ghosts and goblins and witches type stuff. No Danielle Steel here!

Teach, Learn, Share

I've experienced a lot in my 32 years. Things like coming from a broken home, growing up w/ addiction, being homeless. I've worked for the Air Force and been to jail. I've seen and done so much just to survive. It's taken me a long time to get a grip on life and start to understand that I have much to offer, especially to today's youth. I know I have a lot to share. I have so much to learn at the same time. I don't think I can narrow it down to anything specific. Maybe as my year on the road progress' I'll be able to but at this moment my eyes and ears are open to all!
