I recently started a PhD program in sociology, and I focus on environmental issues and migration. In my spare time I am a jazz/blues singer, and I enjoy running and playing ultimate frisbee. I love traveling the world and am happy to show people around Providence.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I was in northern Ethiopia doing some work, and had the opportunity to visit a few rock churches. These churches were carved on top of the pillar-like mountains of the region, and you have to do some serious rock climbing to reach them. Inside, the walls and ceiling are elaborately painted with Ethiopian biblical scenes. They are spectacular!
