Queer intersectional feminist

I've just finished my first year of my Master's of Global Affairs program at the University of Toronto. My focus is on foreign policy, conflict resolution and humanitarian affairs in the Middle East and North Africa.

I love poetry, inspirational women, talking about colours and beautiful things, reading, and laughing.

I feel the most comfortable immersed in nature. I'm an wilderness instructor, tripper, canoe and kayak instructor. and all-around passionate lover of our natural world.

I feel like I could write for a long time about the things that interest me.

I love learning, I always want to be learning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a few people in my home in Halifax during summers but that was through my roommate's account. I have stayed with a couple people over the course of a year-long trip and met some really great people in India who showed us around, introduced us to their world, and made us feel very comfortable so far from home. I'm looking forward to hosting people when I am back home!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met a lot of great people through couch surfing whether they were staying on a couch or in a guest room at my shared house or at a friend's house. I've loved getting to know a lot of different couch surfers be it through big home cooked meals with friends or exploring around the city!

Interests

I love being outside. Canoeing, swimming, hiking, camping are all things I want to be doing all the time. I love meeting new people and spending time with the people I love fills me up.
