ABOUT ME

I moved to NYC three years ago after dancing in a hip-hop club in Sydney and deciding I wanted to be in the heart of hip-hop and closer to home! NYC has been a great base for travelling while being able to enjoy the most incredible and diverse city I have ever seen. I have been running around with my backpack for years now, and obviously Latin America is usually first on my radar when I decide to travel. I love it!
In New York apart from teaching, I spend most of my time checking out new venues to listen to music of all genres, enjoy the variety of food that NY has to offer, sample new IPA beer, ride my bike, and plan my next vacation:)
I meet new people on a daily basis wherever I go simply because I love meeting new friends and discovering what makes other people tick. This and helping out fellow travellers is my reason for joining couchsurfing! Come to NYC!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to stay with people during my travels or even just have a coffee in new destinations. I would love to host people on my couch and show you how amazing NYC is!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time using the couchsurfing but I have many friends who use it. I have been unofficially couchsurfing for years and setting friends and family up for couchsurfing connections. I decided it was time to officially join.

兴趣

I love both cities and nature! Anything from hiking and swimming to checking out art galleries and movies. I am going to start practicing yoga and learning to make jewelry when I return from my travels. I love new experiences and exploration in general!

I skydived over Mordor:) I survived a crash landing in Spain. I have danced onstage with the Flaming Lips in a Santa suit in front of thousands of people. Fun!

I have stories both from travelling and everyday life that are important to me and that will both entertain and hopefully inspire you. I have been consistently travelling for the past 15 years so I believe that I could share some very practical advice to novice travellers. I am a very warm person who is genuinely interested in helping others so I am sure there is more to teach and share than I could list!
