ABOUT ME

I really enjoy traveling and exploring my surroundings. I have a broad array of interests and am constantly learning. I recently took up medium format photography and am about to start developing at home. I love to longboard (on land) and I'm itching to give surfing a try! I study foreign languages as a hobby and am illiterate (in varying degrees) in Spanish, German, French, Mandarin, Finnish ;)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I travel a lot and sometimes (often) end up in a place where I don't know anyone. It's nice to have a local to help me experience a new part of the world. I also really enjoy meeting new and different people and sharing experiences and teaching and learning :)

Música, películas y libros

I'm a musician and I play mostly folk music - piano, guitar, banjo. My favorite musicians at the moment are Radical Face, Sufjan Stevens, Joanna Newsom, and Dolce, plus the old favorites - Joni Mitchell, CSN&Y, Simon and Garfunkel... I love to read and typically read adventure-fantasy, historical fiction, sci-fi.

I am very interested to learn new things: languages, skills, surfing, gardening, nutrition, etc. :)

And I am happy to teach some basic guitar picking and chords and help anyone with English and cook some yummy meals :)
