Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to couch surfing when a friend from University in Holland found us a place to stay in Belgium. It was really fun, and great to meet people who are from the places that we visited. I had a great time, met a bunch of people - even went back to celebrate a festival with a new friend in Ghent, Belgium a few months after first staying there.
I can't host right now, but would love to at some point.

Interests

I am interested in all sorts of things. I love to bike, and am interested in how different cities accommodate cyclists. I play volleyball, I love nature, and also seeing and touring new places - especially European cities, as they have so much history compared to where I'm from!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing experiences I had was going up north in Canada, to the arctic ocean and doing research with the national government wildlife services. It was so amazing to be so completely in the middle of nowhere, and have the sun stay up for 24 hours. Its so peaceful and untouched!
