About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying the wild ride

ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people, seeing new places, and relaxing with good wine or beer. I'm always looking for new adventure buddies here in Japan, so let me know if you're planning something!

My wonderful husband, Joe, has a couchsurfing page here: http://www.couchsurfing.com/people/mtizzy280

I've been blogging about traveling in and out of Japan here: http://konichiwaiwakuni.blogspot.com/

PHILOSOPHY

"Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the ones who treat you right, forget the ones who don't, and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy, they only promised it would be WORTH it!"
---Anon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd love to get more involved with CS here in Japan. I lived in Germany for about a year and loved meeting all the people who would come through Heidelberg, but there aren't as many people visiting Iwakuni. We have lots of interesting things to see around here!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love meeting people for the first time and sharing life stories! Couch surfing is like reading a great book, but the characters are real.

Interests

"I love PEOPLE and the PLANET, as long as they are not annoying."
