I am very easy going, love to meet new people and learn the cool ways people live their lives. I love new cultures and adventures. I have been living in London for the last 6 years and I work as a school social worker for children with significant learning difficulties. My finance is from Zimbabwe originally but has been living in the UK for a long time.

To be honest, I have not thought about couchsurfing in years due to London living being pretty tough on space. The main reason I am updating my information is that my fiancé and I are getting married in Frederick MD in July and planning to stay in a hotel for a couple of days but we have a whole week prior to the wedding and would really like to experience downtown Frederick - where there are no hotels! It would also be nice to meet locals and get a more authentic experience.

I love the outdoors - hiking, running, rowing, walking...anything really. I love both the hussy and buzzle of a big city, but my heart melts for small adorable villages and charming communities.

I hate talking about things I have done, which is why I will always struggle with social media. But I have travelled a lot of the world, and did a lot of it alone as solo female travelling. The most amazing thing about these experiences were that because I was alone, I met amazing locals and really got to know the local culture on a far deeper level than I would have had I not been alone.
