My name is Sven, and I'm a Swedish guy born and raised in a small town in western Sweden. Well-travelled and cultured but with a relaxed take on life.

I am trained a professional dancer and dance instructor, however, since almost two years ago I made some changes in life, and now I work as cabin crew flying across our beautiful planet. I'm easygoing, educated with a sense of humour and an unstoppable appetite for adventure.

I think the world is simply too amazing not to be discovered. So let's help each other out. Sky's the limit!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I first tried CS not only did it make my journey possible, but most of all it added so much to the travel experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

As for the last couple of years, I've started liking Lana Del Rey, but also John Legend, Sam Smith, Billie Eilish, etc... As a teenager, my biggest idols included Patrick Wolf and Sufjan Stevens. I've always been very diverse in my tastes, and such a dancer cliché - eventually I fell in love with Beyoncé. I also like music like The Cure, Talk Talk, Nirvana... and why not some traditional folk music, rnb, rock, house and all that jazz. Good old divas like Eartha Kitt, Dolly Parton and Diana Ross.

I love the film Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, by the legend Pedro Almodóvar. Currently watching La Casa de Flores. Also liked the Netflix series of Star Trek. Don't judge too hard ;)

I read Velvet Rage by Alan Downs and it kind of changed me as a person, so that's probably my best read recently. I hardly ever read novels these days :(
