About Me
Yorkshireman. Maverick. Aspiring Pirate. Jenga Expert. Noodle Enthusiast. Lost.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m easily distracted plus a bit disorganised so I’ve not done any couchsurfing yet. However I’ve met some lovely couchsurfers on my travels and would like to meet more locally.
So if you’ve just moved to the area and wanting to get know the locals or even been here a while and looking to meet new people send me a message.
I would be particularly happy to meet any interesting oddballs 🙃
Interests
I enjoy the simple things; impromptu adventures, general exploring, going off on a tangent, rambling around the countryside, being by the sea, city breaks, pretending to learn piano, café culture, arty films, old man pubs, good food and good conversation etc
- drinking
- music
- hiking

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Eating lots of Ramen and Sushi in Tokyo Exploring the abandoned Monte Palace hotel in the Azores 🏝 Dodging lava whilst living with a friendly tribe on Tanna Whale hunting with some friendly whalers on Lembata (it’s not as bad as it sounds) Staying on an old oil rig off the coast of Borneo I also briefly worked in the maritime industry which took me on some weird and wonderful adventures around the world️
