About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm sure about one thing I want to do throughout my whole life: Travelling; and when I think of travelling, luxurious hotels, fancy restaurants and conventional landmarks is the last thing that comes to my mind. What I want to get from travelling is learning new things, to meet the locals and their insights and ways, to explore the nature, to eat both the usual and the unusual, to learn new languages, to meet the local day-to-day, and more.
Couch surfing seems the right place to find people who might help me with this and people with similar interests as mine that I might help.

Interests

Languages, travelling, foreign food, cooking, history, music, literature, films, philosophy, tennis, birdwatching, nature, photography, meeting new places, meeting new people, trying new activities.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: 60's and 70's Rock (Pink Floyd is my favourite band), Classical, Jazz, Indie-Rock and a several others.
The Books: I love literature, and I enjoy a wide variety of genres but I'm especially into Latin-American Short-stories and Japanese Literature

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you're interested in Spanish or Japanese I can teach you as much as I know (I'm not quite fluent in Japanese yet, but I might teach you a thing or two), back in Mexico I've got experience as a language teacher.
I'd be glad to play tennis with you, or maybe any board game or video games, or how about a cup of tea of coffee and have a nice chat? I really enjoy learning about other people stories, experiences, insights and opinions, as well as sharing mine.
Want to know something about Mexico? Don't hesitate to ask me, I can tell you about our culture, history and ways. Fancy trying authentic Mexican food? No problem, I'll find something to cook for you.
