About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finish college. Without devoting 100% of my time to it. I don't want to dedicate so much of myself to my career that I may regret not doing more later on in life. I want to split my priorities evenly and collect amazing experiences along the way.
ABOUT ME
I love to live new experiences and meet interesting people. I'm an Architecture student in college and I still have a few semesters to go. I like going out and being part of the city's nightlife. I go out every chance I get with friends. I recently realized how therapeutic traveling can be. And now, I can't get enough of it. As soon as I come back from a trip, I start thinking about my next one. I think I have "eternal traveler" syndrome. Which means I'm restless all the time because I feel like I wanna be somewhere else. A blessing and a curse :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It was a quick, practical way to get in touch with people visiting my country, I would love to host, but sadly I can't in my apartment. But I can be a host to my city anytime! I love the idea of handling what parts of the city the traveler sees. When someone guides a visitor in their hometown it's very personal, because the local is showing what their city means to THEM. And it's different for every one. I also like the idea of sharing a place to stay when I travel. I'm actually learning to cook a few of the Peruvian dishes just so I can share them with whoever hosts me when I visit a new country. This, because I strongly believe that food is something very strong, that characterizes and joins countries and nationalities :)
Interests
Going out, parties (decent ones), biking in the city, downhill biking in nearby mountains, traveling, learning a third language, going to the movies, eating out in fancy places, sharing beers with friends in my favorite sports bar, cooking, skating, training my dog, fixing my car, college, the beach in summer. And basically planning a trip of any kind at least twice a year.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Movies...
I can't name all of them, but i like comedy, horror films, action films, adventure, anything from marvel or DC, sci-fi films, and when I absolutely have to romantic movies (only if they have a good plot) and almost never drama films. I like to be entertained, not stressed by movies. So I'll watch anything with a fun storyline.
In Music...
In music, I have a very flexible taste, and I'll give anything a try, but it has to be upbeat and danceable, basically that music you listen to before a party to get psyched. My iPod song list looks like something 20 different people put together. You can hear hard rock and then it changes to classical music. Or vulgar, offensive rap, that later changes into a Disney song. So yes, very flexible taste.
For Books...
I love reading, lately though I've been hooked on Stephen King books only but I still like reading an actual book instead of on a screen sometimes. I like fiction in books, non fiction is a little boring for me. I've read books by James Patterson, Darren Shan, R.L Stine, Anthony Horowitz, AVI, Lemony Snicket, Stephen King. And when I want to LEARN something I'll pick up anything that will make me sound smarted on a date :) Sigmund Freud, Nostradamus, Richard La Ruina. They make for good conversation fillers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I couldn't possibly pick just one, I feel it's unfair to the other little things I've done.
Traveled through Spain and Italy with my girlfriend at 21 years of age. That's something not many people can say they did. And I had a great time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know how to cook a few of my country's dishes, so if you like learning to cook new, interesting things I can show you. I'm fluent in English and in Spanish so I can help practice both. I also have an opinion about almost anything. So I can share some points of view.
I'm learning Italian, so I would love to meet someone who naturally speaks it. I'm also open to learning traditional recipes for food. I also would like to learn how everyone has fun in different cultures. Always interesting to see the difference.
I can share my way of thinking, I imagine lots of people in CS have a similar one though. Very positive and open minded, kinda have to be to couch surf! I feel like the priority in anyone's life should always be to have fun wherever, whenever. Enjoying each moment as best you can. (cliche I know, but true:) )
What I Can Share with Hosts
Like I said, I like cooking, so if you need help for meals, or just want to cook together, I would love to. I'm also very clean and organized, I usually don't even unpack my stuff, because I like to travel light. If I can help doing chores, I'll be happy to, since you are letting me stay with you. I have a positive attitude so I'm sure it won't be uncomfortable. I have great respect for local customs, wherever I go. And that includes the host's rules. I'll do my best to obey everything you ask of me. I'm very respectful and all I ask in return is the same respect. I also have a few stories to tell from other travels, and I would love to hear about yours.
