About Me

ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Heidi. Originally I'm from Hungary and to be honest I had a very ordinary life till I started to travel in 2010 - with a little exception in 2005. I grew up in a small city and even made my bachelor degree there. During my studies I was an Erasmus in Portugal so I lived there for quite a few, crazy months. After that experience I was not able to live in the small city any more so I moved to Budapest for work and started my masters study in a third city. Just when I finished my masters studies, my company decided to send me to India for a few months. Altogether I spent 10 weeks there: 8 weeks work and 2 weeks travelling around alone. Once I finished my project in India, I got another offer from the company: to move to Glasgow. So I've been living here for 2 years. I travelled around the whole island and also Ireland, been to the States and just now to Italy. In December I'm planning to return to India for a wedding, then go to Sri Lanka for holiday. Next year plan is skiing in France, long weekend in Amsterdam, Glastonbury festival and finally visit my friend in Brazil.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am very new to CouchSurfing. I registered quite a while ago because I heard about this site from loads of people but that time I only registered to see how this thing looks like.
I am about to actually couchsurf for the first time only now but I'm really looking forward to it.

Interests

I'm a typical pisces. I like doing all sort of things, a bit of everthing: pub, cafe, club, gigs, museum, gallery, cinema, theatre, reading, hiking, sightseeing, driving, dancing, eating, drinking, watching, listening, travelling.
To be honest when travelling I'm kind of a pleasure hunter: usually I plan loads of things for short time just to see, experience, meet, enjoy, talk the more. Most people think there is no actual pleasure or relax in that but I like to go on and on, to bustle, to be alive, to be present.
