About Me

Things on CS are really changed!

I was born in South Korea but raised in Japan until I was 9.
I like watching movies, looking around design museum, exploring alcohols, sharing wonderful ideas.
The sake I'm most interested in for the last 4 years is Nihonshu. I wanna know local Izakayas where I can have variety of Nihonshu!
I've been Burning Man in the last year. If there is somebody who've been there or listened about Burning Man, I would be really pleased :)
I'm running my own fashion brand called "notyourflavor".

The other things:
I majored mathematics in Seoul National University because the only thing I'was good at was mathematics and wanted to be hired in hedge funds like Renaissance Technologies.

As you can see in my profile photos, I spent two years in the US army.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've joined this community in the winter of 2013.

At that time, I was a student traveling to the Europe to see the Northern light.
However, the cost of living in the Northern Europe was truly expensive so that I was not able to stay even a day.
Some of my friends introduced me CS and luckily, people I met in Stockholm at that time were eager to know Japanese language. Since I'm not a Japanese and the period I lived in Japan was restricted in my childhood, I was able to let them know the basic Japanese language.
