Hello, I'm HeeJoon Choi from Korea and I am living in Austria Klagenfurt as an exchange student these days.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am mainly interested in sharing culture! I have lived in Korea and Vietnam and now in Austria, I met many people from various countries. And sharing and talking about their country was very interesting! Since some people are not aware of Asian culture, I want to share my experiences and thoughts with the person who wants to know about this.
Moreover, I love travel very much XD! About one and a half years ago, with my best friend, I travelled ten cities in Europe. That's why I came Austria as an exchange student now! I really want to travel a lot of countries :)

I did my first CS at Helsinki in March 2016 and it was absolutely nice. This made me to try more CS on the rest of my trips :-D

Interests

I am interested in music, dance and education.
I love listening music especially jazz. And one of my hobbies is dancing, which is mostly about watching and learning choreography clips from youtube.
Last one 'education' is quite academic topic, and this is my big interest since my major is English education and I hope to teach English abroad.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite is Amy Winehouse, Norah Jones, and Maroon5. I also like Michael Jackson, Jack Johnson, Adele and so on.
In case of movie, there is not my absolute favorite, but I like watching them! I recently watched The Intern, Amy, and Before Sunrise.
Actually I read Korean books (especially novels) usually, but I really want to try English books!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There is one good thing and one bad thing I want to mention in case of my life experience.
Good thing is Europe traveling i did in 2014. With my best friend, I travelled ten cities in Europe and it was my best life experience ever. That's why I came Austria as an exchange student now! I really want to travel a lot of countries :)
Bad thing is, I got a knee surgery last February. This happen after my first skiing, so I am little bit afraid of extreme sports after that.

As I lived in three countries, which are Korea, Vietnam and Austria, I would like to share the life experience of me and any foreign friend :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook several simple Korean dishes and I have some souvenirs as well. I hope you like it :)
