ABOUT ME

My greatest desire in life is travelling. I love not knowing where I might end up tomorrow, or where this bus/boat (and a couple of times, plane) is taking me. I get restless if I am in one place for too long.

Life changed a bit when I adopted a cat. I promised her to take care of her, cause she had a rough 2 years before we found each other. She's my little girl and I'll never leave her behind.

I am both a student and teacher. In heart and soul.
I love teaching, and especially children. They are much more fun than adults. And I love learning new things. Especially things I never thought I'd learn.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't hosted in quite a while, as I have been kinda rootless. Now I have the opportunity to host more people again, although I work a lot, but will definately do my best to say yes! :) Because: WHY NOT?! ;)

Most people in this world are good people, and most people like to share something good from themselves. Be it a good conversation, making a meal together, go for a walk or a delightful silent moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I've had awesome people surfing my place! And hopefully will have more people visiting soon. As I myself will start surfing more in the time to come :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing; hard to pick, but I choose the experience when I rafted Lanquin river in Guatemala. It was wild and amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to teach someone something, if possible. I make awesome fig and dark chocolate cookies. And I can teach you how to swear in 5 languages.

I love learning. Everything, anything!

My goal for 2014 was to learn how to play the uke. That didn't happen. Soo, if someone comes by and they have a ukulele: teach me a song :)
I suck at learning new stuff all by myself.
