Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to experience the world; meet people, practice language skills and learn about the places I visit.

Interests

I believe your body is your temple and the brain your most important muscle. So I try to take good care of it by eating healthy (mostly vegetarian), exercising regularly and get out in nature as often as I can. Exceptions are coffee, wine and beer ;) You will most likely find me in the mountains trekking or rockclimbing, or hanging out at a beach (underwater). If I am in a city I will try to see a couple of sights, but mostly I will be at a café, watching life go by, talking to people or reading a book. It's the people that make a place!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a bit of a netflix/hbo fan; series and docunentaries rather than TV. As for music I mostly listen to electronic, folkpop, singer-songwriters and some rhytm-stuff that makes me smile and want to dance (which i am really bad at by the way). I read a mix of facts and fiction, such as biografies, stuff about environment/nature and exercise as well as travelbooks and 20th century novels. But I love diversity and wpuld be very happy to get recommendations in other genres too!

I am told I am openminded, friendly and laidback. If you enjoy conversations and doing things I would love to learn from you, but I am also independent enough to venture out in the world alone if you need a quiet evening. Overall; I am just happy to go at your pace , after all it's your home!
