ABOUT ME
I'm 20-something Norwegian guy. About 1.80 m in height. Pretty thin. Can't grow decent facial hair. Very open-minded. A bit quiet. Values honesty. Tries (and often succeeds)to be polite. Moderate Drinker. Non-smoker. Currently studying Japanese at the university of Oslo.
PHILOSOPHY
The type of Christianity that believes that God isn't big enough of an asshole to send people to an eternity of suffering just because of their actions and beliefs during life.
So basically I believe in the chill God of hippie kingdom that loves everybody no matter what.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfed a bit a long time ago. Hosted various tourists in Stavanger for a while. My student apartment in Oslo is unfortunately too small for that sort of thing now.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfed through Japan with great success. It's a really great way to meet new friends and experience different lifestyles.
I've also hosted people several times, and I've never had a single negative experience.
Interests
Computer games. Good music. Good conversation. The occasional Anime and Manga. Quirky comedy (usually of the British variety).
I also like theme parks.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have found an interest in old Japanese pop music. Probably because of my wish to be the most special and interesting person in world.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Saw 1/8 of a human head in a university hospital once. It was related to an army first-aid course we were having. It was almost perfectly preserved and chopped up and you were able to see the layers of skin, cranium, brain tissue and half of the eyeball. We were allowed to touch it and one guy fainted.
It was deeply disturbing, yet very awesome.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know some basic army skills like first-aid, self defense and hiking.
I can play the guitar if you're definition of playing a guitar is really broad.
I'm currently teaching myself Japanese with the help of my wife and my private teacher.
