I graduated from University with majoring in Journalism and communication in the Chinese University of Hong Kong 2018 . I spent my time in NZ working holiday during the Covid time. I went back to Hong Kong after that and started another journey to Calgary,Canada since June 2022. So I’m currently hosting in Calgary, NOT in Hong Kong

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first discover couchsurfing when I was still in high school since I deeply belive that meeting local people and culture is the most important thing when travelling, which can make a trip becomes unforgettable and meaningful.

Music, Movies, and Books

Folk and Blue music has been my favorite. Songs from Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen are on my top list.
I am also a movie lover and I study movies in university.I am interested in a lot classical movies instead of the hollywood ones, I've made a documentary about destiny.
I like philosophy books which i believe can always inspire my mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2015 May, I ride my bike for 1220 km to complete a whole circular path of Taiwan Island, which took me 21 days to finish, while some of the time are travelling.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don’t like the words Teaching and Learning, but I like the word Sharing, as there isn’t right or wrong in our life, we are just here to share our own values and the way we live. After listening to someone’s thoughts, If you think it is good for you, take it ; if not, forget it.
Personally, I am experienced and interested in Football, biking,traveling,culture, making fun,seeking a good life, Philosophy, Politics, history,Justice, social issues, religion,chatting,watching movies, cooking( Chinese Cuisine),Camping, Hiking, Photographing.
Life is just like making a burger in a shared kitchen, you can choose whatever ingredients you like before trying it and accepting it, and then put it into your bread. However, at the same time, somebody may also steal ,copy or learn from your recipe. But eventually, you have to make your own burger and that is your final product, which is your life goal. You may mess it up or luckily create a unique and amazing one. But it doesn’t matter, because this is part of your life. And i think couchsurfing provides me this kind of opportunity that I can meet someone from different countries, born and bred in an exotic culture and atmosphere. I believed this is an mutual benefit that we can definitely take something meaningful and integrate it into our own life.

I come from Hong Kong. Hong Kong is a place that divers cultures exist, ranging from chinese,korean,japanese, taiwanese, indonesian,british, indian,pakistan to catholic,christian,buddhist,islamic. What I can offer to you guys may not be the material comforts, but something that you should know about a mixed-culture city.

Apart from that, the natural scenery are incredibly amazing, with thousands of small islands nearby,hundreds of mountains, numerous beautiful beaches, amazing volcanic rocks shape, different animal species living,farmlands and fishing villages. Together with the natural places is the modernization of the city. Skyscrapers everywhere(usually more than 30 storeys), cramped area that allow 7 million populations, free market that shapes the capitalized city, perfect transportation facilities and awesome night view.
However, here exists lots of social issues, like gender equality, freedom of speech,freedom of press,democracy, wealth gap, working hours, same sex marriage, so on and so forth..
