Habitual Wanderer. Wild Card. Sunset Enthusiast.

After finishing my first lap in the "real world" I decided to give my job my two weeks notice and take a "mini-retirement", letting the travel bug bite. I'm infected with lust for adventure and excitement of the unknown. My one way flight was booked and my plans were set, a T- for tentative. Let's see where the wind blows me... (written 2014)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch surfing experience is held in a special place in my heart. I was traveling to Rome with four friends for a week. Even with many guests our hosts were extremely hospitable; sharing their space, time, food and friends, making us feel right at home and welcome.

Since that experience, I've had many more hosts that each had there own way to share the flavor of their home.

I am in love with the idea of couchsurfing, meeting the people living in the place I visit. The sweetest way to travel is to discover a place from the eyes of it's residents. I love that I am able to ask about the areas that are seldom visited by tourists and make me feel like part of the community, even when just passing through.
