Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My roommate Rachel and I have a heart for hospitality, but please make an effort to prove you read this.

Sometimes our schedules are very hectic and we work 12+ hour days, but we will be happy to host if our couch is available. But no guarantees that we will be able to hang out or show you the sites.

We live in a one bedroom apartment, so it's small, but it's home. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love the Couchsurfing community. It's a group of friendly and generous free spirits who find solidarity in their love for one another, adventure, and exploring new things!

I've been a surfer in Boston, Colorado Springs, and San Diego. All were very different, but GREAT experiences. Next up is Japan! Any takers? Lol

Interests

Traveling, playing board and card games, hiking, camping, photography, making people laugh, woodburning, and I love a good bonfire with smores.

My favorite band is twentyone pilots.

My favorite movie is a toss up between Fight Club and Pride and Prejudice.

My favorite books: Bible, The Life Changing Magic of Tidying, Bossypants, Yes Please!, Fresh Air, My Side of the Mountain, Hatchet, and tons more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam in an (inactive) volcano in El Salvador.

I jumped and swam in a cenote in Mexico.

I went to both nights of Guns N Roses at Dodger's Stadium in Los Angeles 2016 and it was an amazing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I went to film school and I am very kowledgable about how movies and television shows are made. I have an interest in the written word and languages though. Sentence structure, grammar, and learning about foreign languages in something I would would like to pursue learning.

I'm very interested in learning more about Asian history and cultures. I find that area of the world fascinating.
