I grew up on a tiny town in Central Wisconsin on a dairy farm and while I have spent the last 10 years in bigger cities I still truly appreciate the quiet peace you can only find outside city limits.

In early 2015 I left my office job and moved into my car for the summer. I haven't had a true "home" since then. I have a full-time customer service job that allows me to work remotely for pretty much anywhere with an internet connection. This means I can travel a bit, allowing me to explore new areas when I'm not working. I've been bouncing between AirBnB's, friends' couches + WorkAway volunteer exchanges for a year now. It's a little chaotic but I like the constantly changing scenery!

I don't want to be just a tourist while I'm traveling. I want to experience the local culture, preferably with some guidance from the people living in the cities + mountains I visit. Besides, the people are what create the experiences!

Intereses

My free time is often spent outside...trail running, hiking, camping, backpacking and just exploring the world around me. I'm quite active and am always up to try something new.
