Our small family has been truncated with the demise of Andrew, our paterfamilias on 3 March. Mila, my daughter, is in Germany cleaning stables, so it's just me in our new location, near Deneysville on the Vaal River, about an hour south of Johannesburg. I am still self-employed but now also translate for an Austrian company, sort of full-time from home. We moved north from the Western Cape to have more grazing for our animals.
I love animals and have lots, so please keep that in mind! I do not apologise for dogs on the sofa!
I know a lot about the history of South Africa and about its cultures, and can probably answer most of your questions. I also like cooking and would like to continue the tradition that Andrew established of cooking wonderful meals for our guests. There is lots of space to stay on my 16-hectare farm. I can organise horseriding for you, and also cruises on the Vaal dam.

Yes, this is out of the way! But if you feel like venturing into one of South Africa's heartlands, we are only 20 km away from large centres where there is everything you might need.
