About Me

I'm a relaxed traveller, a little all over the shop with my life. l quit my day job as an architect in March last year and have been floating around, experiencing the world ever since. I'm about to spend a month in France participating in an architecture course before heading to Denmark to hopefully stay for a little longer, I love the nomadic lifestyle but need a little 'hygge'-ness and a couch of my own to host for a while!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love experiencing new places through the eyes of a local and couchsurfing is the perfect way to do it. Ive always enjoyed having friends & friends of friends (many from DK) stay with me at home when they are travelling Australia and get a lot of joy out of showing them (or guiding them to) my favourite places. Im also a big believer in the best adventures coming out of the lowest budgets and love to travel in a low key way for this reason... you just never know who or what you will stumble across next!

Interests

Im an architect in Australia but am currently taking a break to figure out what i want to do with my life 😅.
I figure the best way to do this is to follow my passions and experience as much of the world as i can!
I love architecture and design but need to find a way to practice it in a more meaningful way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The world is so full of beautiful places, cultures and people...
maybe the most amazing thing ive done is just to have been irresponsible enough to quit my job and go and experience some of the incredible things out there!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Positivity, friendliness, food (Im one of those pains that can't eat gluten... so always happy to cook and share if you're up for my experiments!), swap travel stories, relationship disasters or life philosophies. Adaptable to whatever pace of life you're experiencing - loud or quiet, slow or fast.
