Lately I've been trying to read more books by Asian authors, specifically. Favorites include Love in a Fallen Cirty by Eileen Chang and the White Book by Han Kang, which was odd, nothing like I expected and in a surprising way, comforting and relatable.

Staying at Nam Cat Tien national park in Vietnam was beautiful. Hearing the nature come alive during the night, especially the gibbon monkeys, was first scary but eventually comforting and beautiful. Hiking up Victoria Peak during the night, on my own, and seeing the full view of Hong Kong.
