About Me

Describe myself?! How could I possibly do that!?

How people perceive themselves is never how they are perceived. Every species has evolved, and every individual organism developed, to see the world through its completely unique lens. This lens, or worldview, is constantly being influenced or unlocked by the succession of events that that organism has experienced thus far in its journey of life. Who am I to instruct you how to perceive me?! I welcome you to make your own opinion of what/how/who I am. Maybe we will both learn something new about each other and ourselves ;)

I love love love connecting with people on CS and during daily life because (cus cus) getting a tiny peak through the lens' of others just brings me so much joy. I am fascinated by finding out how people make sense of their city, their world..... and I love sharing my story with others too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

GUESS WHAT OK once, a shelf in my kitchen broke. I didn't know how to fix it using nuts and bolts etc., so I considered my plan of action while munching on a few gherkins, Spreewald of course. As I munched and stared at the wonky shelf, I suddenly realised that the jar had the PERFECT dimensions to wedge under the shelf and hold it up. No tools needed.
It still holds today.
Boom.
With one untouched gherkin remaining. It floats. In solitude. As a metaphor for resourcefulness, spontaneity, holism, determinism, persistence, creativity, transience, obsoletism, lacanianism, zeitgeist, love, war, collective anarchism, relational frame theory, wow you are still reading! And I am still writing! So whenever I'm entertaining guests and find my hypothesis needs some backing, I whip open the cabinet and use the gherkin jar as a metaphor for one of the above isms. Or whatever else I decide is relevant at that moment. It gives such validity to any claim because no matter what, you just can't argue about how fucking amazing the coincidence was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, I came second place in a gherkin eating competition last month.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn: Whatever you feel inspired to teach. I'm working on my Italian at the moment so some help with that would be great. But come on, I'm in my 20's, my brain is highly permeable when it comes to new skills and information!
Teach: Everything I know, which is objectively very little
Share: Everything I have, which is objectively even less
