ABOUT ME

we are a family of 6, my husband alan and myself and our 4 girls aged between 7 and 15. we love to travel and have an interesting heritage, alans family is from goa, india but was born in zimbabwe, grew up in malawi and ended up in the east end of london when he was 11. my mum is from holland, where i spent much of my childhood. our work background is in tv production and our girls have picked up a creative side, all of them into acting, dancing and singing! we live in s.w london very close to wimbledon tennis and only 25 mins from central london on the train. i am also a trustee for a small charity which feeds orphans in the kibera slum, nairobi, kenya, called lunchbowl. the work is unpaid but very rewarding and we are very keen that our children understand that the world around them is very different to what they know and have and very interesting. we have busy lives, with a houseful of children and their friends and we would love to open their eyes further to the many interesting people and cultures in the world and would enjoy offering you a couch!
