ABOUT ME

I love to get out there. I camp, hike,snowboard, scuba dive, backpack, read, drink coffee, drink, dance.....I can either stay in a 4 star beach resort reading my book on the beach but I prefer to dive with sharks, paraglide off mountain, snowboard out of a helicopter, or meet new friends and explore a new city. I'm a little older but I still grab a backpack and take off for 30 days.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life the way I WANT TO, I think people get distracted with how they think they should be living and thef forget to ask themselves what they want. My favorite things on earth are my friends and family. I treasure them!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This year i'm planning a two month road trip in my van, a month long road trip with my two brothers in Australia,a month solo trip to India, and possibly 2 weeks in Norway and 2 weeks in Bonaire visiting friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't couch surfed on this website before but I have met up with friends of friends in Amsterdam and got to sleep in a converted restaurant and party with locals for a week, met up with friends met on the road and then visited in their home towns of Toronto and the Czech Republic. I've also met up with other travellers and crashed on their couch throughout Europe.

Interests

I'm interested in good coffee and wine. Seeing all that a new town has to offer. Scuba diving everywhere I can. I love historical fiction and reading. Camping is my longest standing hobby. I'm a nature girl but I love the big city as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and seeing bands. I go to local shows 1-5 times a month, I love music festivals but I have my bands I like and those are the ones I want to see. I love Wilco, the Old 97's, Ween, Drive by Truckers, Modest Mouse, Band of Horses....I'm also into books. Historical fiction is my new love but give me any good fiction or historical Russian novel and you won't see me for days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went and scuba dived a wreck of a ship in Greece. The thing that made this so amazing was I was on the ship when it sunk 10 years before. I was able to go back and take pictures underwater of the exact spot I was sitting when we began to sink.
