CURRENT MISSION
“I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list...”
ABOUT ME
After graduating university with a degree in International Business, I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work and travel extensively in a constant quest to satisfy my adventurous spirit... eighty-seven countries, all seven continents, living in five foreign countries before returning to the U.S. in 2004. From the chilly hummocks of the Russian tundra to the deep snowy recesses of the Swiss Alps, from the steamy tropical rainforest of the Peruvian Amazon to the golden savannahs of Africa, I truly believe that travel really does broadens one's view of the world.
I live in Denver now, having landed in this beautiful state after a throwing a dart at a map. No joke. I moved here from London, leaving a job with international equity firm to handle Public Relations for NASA's Cassini-Huygens spacecraft currently orbiting Saturn. I was doing sales for Gulfstream, a private jet manufacturer, when I met the owners of the real estate firm I currently work for. They convinced me to get into real estate (read... 'make your own hours and ability to finance your galavanting') and have been doing it ever since!
I'm on Facebook (who isn't?!) so feel free to pop over a friend request.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Experiencing other cultures, meeting new people, seeing the beauty (and sometimes ugliness) of the world has helped me understand that all of our lives are interconnected, yet very individual. My experiences have made me better appreciate my own home and culture, and a much more tolerant person as a result.
Interessi
I'm an enthusiastic scuba diver and PADI Dive Master, I have over 1000 ocean water dives from all over the world, and am a volunteer scuba diver with UNECSO's Humpback Whale Research Team in Kingdom of Tonga and the Great White Shark project in South Africa. Get certified! The underwater world is such a magical place! I also am also a hang-glider pilot, snowboarder, marathon runner, and am currently learning to kite surf.
My other interests are serving as a board member of PEACE, an not-for-profit based in Puerto Vallarta that organizes free spay/neuter clinics to others that could otherwise not afford it. I also assist with education and outreach programs for the Dian Fossy Gorilla Conversation fund in Uganda, Congo and Rwanda, a non-profit organization that dedicated to the conservation and protection of the endangered mountain gorillas in Africa. And lastly, I am a Mentor to a Sudanese family through the African Community Center, an organization that helps refugees flee from persecution within their own country and start a new life here in Denver.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
I don't even think I can begin to name them all.... but I do believe it's the people that I've met, friends that are dearest to my heart that make travels nothing short of fantastic.
There isn't many places I have been (or so it seems) but the top five have to be Trans Siberian Express, Cuba, Madagascar, Papua New Guinea, Christmas Island, the Maldives, UAE.... and the list goes on and on from there!
