Sounds like a great way to meet locals and learn something about the country, travel books and media can't tell.
Interests
Travel: Different countries with their cultures, politics etc.
Nature: Trekking, walks, cycling..., but also relaxing with a coffee and do people watching for hours.
I enjoy going to the pub, but you would need to go to the disco on your own.

Indie Music, Rock
Love Tarantino Movies and independent movies, but also Hollywood ones. Looove movies.
Constantly reading books. Rather good novels than crime stories, but some of them are OK, too
