ABOUT ME
We are Deborah (28) and Heiko (27), a German couple that moved to London at the end of September 2011 to live there for one year. We are both students (mathematics & computer science, psychology-literature-philosophy-mix). Heiko is doing a Master at the UCL, Deborah is working in a London based theatre company. We are not that much into staying alone in our room all day, but very sociable people and interested to couchsurf with people who also are.We both love cooking, chatting over a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening, literature & theatre, and concerts of hip underground music.
PHILOSOPHY
"Et is wie et is"
"Et kütt wie et kütt"
"Es hät noch immer jot gejange"
"Kenne mer nit, bruche mer nit, fott domet."

Music, Movies, and Books
Hip underground indie music and Jazz. We really love music and enjoy hearing and making it. Heiko plays the guitar, piano and trumpet, Deborah plays jazz triangle.
We love reading old German literature like Kafka, Remarque, Irmgard Keun, Georg Büchner but also newer stuff like Max Goldt, Judith Hermann and Peter Stamm.
Also we like Satre, but we don't like Camus.
We don't like Hollywood Blockbusters that much except for "Conan the Barbarian" (but not part II!). Arthouse movies are our favourites.
