Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When i was travelling with my bike "Brother Bee", i was keen to looking for hosts, either through CS or a Chinese social website named douban.com, because of my low budget and curiosity on local people.
My first host she lived in Yichang Hubei, before i explored into the Yangtz - Three Gorges area, she lived with her mother, her husband and parents in law in the same city, her husband was working to India with a computer program of his company for the time. Her parents in law came to the flat on one of the four nights for her baby, she rang me to inform to not come back before her next call when i was cycling back to the flat outside. Guess why...Might be a serious problem for hosting me before the "Chinese parents" for her.
Thanks to my "good habit", there were no socks left on the floor and my shoes were put in the corner of the balcony, the parents did not see any of a male stranger. I was told that when I was back.
Felt so much that night.
