About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discovering the wonderfull city of Celle, Germany and the countryside.

ABOUT ME

I am active, creative and easy going, most of the time. I can be silent and relaxed too. I love travelling, especially by train. When travelling I have a good intuition to be at the right place at the right time. For me the magic of a journey is: feeling that I am guided and well protected, meeting wonderful new friends, discovering beautiful places and having lots of fun. Learning new languages, seeing old cities and splendid nature, enjoying good food and drinks and laughing a lot;-)

At the moment I can't offer you a couch, but you're welcome to meet me, have tea or a beer with me; I can show you around in my city Nijmegen, or in the beautiful countryside (forests, hills, swimming lakes, rivers...) around here.

PHILOSOPHY

"And in the end, the love you take
is equal to the love you make."

(The Beatles, the last line they ever recorded, on "Abbey Road")

"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery; NOW I live!

I live to realize my dreams and plans, follow my inner path, and share a lot of pleasure, experience, dreams and fun with others. Together we can make our Earth more beautiful and happier.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I can't host people myself, so I try to be a nice and inspiring guest whenever I'm invited. And I try to find hosts who give me good feelings, like we don't have to explain what we expect from each other; we feel what the other person needs and give that to them if possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until now I had great experiences couchsurfing in Berlin, Edinburgh; Knokke-Heist and Bilzen (Flanders); Schwerin, Lübeck and Paderborn (Germany).

Interests

Traveling, preferably by train, shamanism, drawing, jazz and bigband music, children, cooking, laughing, good talks about personal development, dreams, history, languages, networking... to mention a few.

Music, Movies, and Books

Good old 60s and 70s, Beatles, Brel, New Orleans jazz, chansons, ambient, Chopin... So far for the music. Books? I write and like spiritual adventurous novels for children and funny psychological and erotical stuff for adults.
I'm also very fond of road movies, fantasy, absurd comedies, coming of age-pics, epic history etc. etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw some of the greatest temples in Egypt (Luxor, Karnak, Dendera).

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to visit new countries, make new friends, learn from each other's culture, lifestyle, experiences...
