ABOUT ME

With me it's all about new experiences. I want to taste, see, smell, touch and hear everything! I believe life was meant to be enjoyed and enjoyed in the company of others. I have a pretty good sense of humor and minor (its pretty major) obsession with puns. I'm also a real thinker and I love to talk about life, philosophy, human nature, science, food, culture, dirty jokes, and everything in between! ;)
I'm bit of a gym freak and enjoy eating well. Currently at university doing a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science. Always up for a party but I'd rather see or do something different/interesting. I'm pretty easy going and can relate to almost anyone. Get talking about something I am passionate about or something that is on my mind, and you won't be able to shut me up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to use it as a way of meeting amazing people while I travel and to contribute to this incredible international network of like-minded people.
Unfortunately, hosting people at this point is a bit difficult because I am in a sharehouse.

Interests

Exercise and fitness, good food, coffee (HHMMMM), music and beaches. But more important;y, life is about people. I love meeting and finding out about people from all walks of life. I approach people with the same curiosity I approach life. I love to understand them, find out what makes them tick and spot the gold in them that sets them apart from the next person.

Music, Movies, and Books

Any book by Malcolm Gladwell.
Mostly a comedy kind of man, but I love a good movie that gets you thinking or inspires you.
I like a bit of everything (what a cop out right?). But at the moment I'm really into electronic music, whether its the chill stuff or big house anthems.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once queued up at a new Carl's Jr. Burger restaurant over-night in order to win a free burger every week for the next year. I regret nothing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a pretty unique background. I am South African by nationality but... I was born in Taiwan, moved to Singapore when I was 9 and then moved to Melbourne, Australia alone when I was 19. So I've seen a few things and learnt a lot. Hopefully I can share these experiences and perspectives with the people I meet on my travels. I also have a little bit of interest in pretty much everything and I love learning.
