CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying my last few months living in Europe, and making even better this wonderful adventure I'm having here! After that I'll go back to Brazil with a new desire: to explore my own country, and it's own multicultural society and amazing nature.

ABOUT ME

I'm a brazilian guy that studies mechatronics engineering. I came to life Italy in august 2008, and I've being here since then. When I arrived here i was amazed by all the new things and opportunities i had in front of me. I met people from all over Europe (thanks Eramus program to exist) and also from all over the world. And I also started traveling a lot, and I've been to some places that I couldn't even imagine I'd visit someday, because it was so far away from my reality.
For me it's really difficult to describe myself, but I think the best description is

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy the moment, make good friends, go to different places, learn new things, offer my help whenever it's possible, captivate people, and let them captivate me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new on couchsurf, I haven't hosted anyone yet and I haven't been hosted either. If you want to come to Torino, I'll give you touristic information and if i'm free, I'll be really glad to show you the city and take you to taste some really good italian gelato!

Intereses

I love all kind of sports, outdoor, indoor, radical, relaxing. I like running, but sprints not long distances. I love how everything else just disappear when I'm running, the only thing i can hear is the wind blowing in my ears and the only thing i can see the track in front of me. I also like basketball (maybe because i'm tall) and soccer (definitely because i'm brazilian).
I like cooking, and i love italian food.
I enjoy a good day on the beach, swimming and finding out new landscapes, and places not very popular, like desert beaches or just a good quite place on the rocks at the shore. I also have a peculiar hobby, i love cliff-jumping, with a lot of precautions, of course. I love walking barefoot in the sand, and i love the sound of the waves. But the thing related to nature that I love the most is waterfall. it's so relaxing, and i feel completely in contact with nature.
I like discovering new places and learning about their history. I've learn how to appreciate different architectural styles, even without a big specific knowledge about it.
And i love traveling, going to the touristic places. Or knowing the other side of the cities, experience them they way a local person does.
Recently I started to like photography, but I'm just a beginner and I still need a good camera.

Música, películas y libros

I love watching almost all kind of movies. It really depends on how I'm feeling at the time. Sometimes I prefer watching a good movie, that kind of movie that makes me think, that brings something good to my life. Sometimes i just need to laugh and nothing better than a good comedy, even those really stupid ones!
I love music, I'm always listening to something, and, even not being a great singer, i like singing! I'm very eclectic about music, and open to new stuff. I like brazilian music, there is something about the all the different rhythms and also the sound of portuguese that makes it really peculiar and good.
I used to read more books when I was younger, novels, i really like some of Stephen King's books. But after I started studying engineering my attention and time were focused in math, physics and science books.

That's the whole idea of life, and that's what make couchsurfing great. I can teach you something about my country and my language and also how to cook a good pasta. And I'm open to learn everything you have to share with me.
