About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Listening to my Inner Witch. Making IT possible.

ABOUT ME

All about me? No way! Especially that changes are in progress... ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

It's better to regret things you have done than regret that you haven't done them... I've always belived in that, and still... - I don't really regret my mistakes, they give me lessons from which I hope I learn. However it came to me - sometimes, if there is an inside voice warning you, it's really better not to do SOMETHING and just to do SOMETHING ELSE instead! :-D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I meet other couchsurfers in Dublin and outside Dublin (when I travel). Recently I haven't been very active, which I would like to change.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Positive! In Dublin I meet couchsurfers for coffee, drink, walks in the city, trips to a seaside and parties.
On my trips to Rome, Pisa, London and Florence I met great people, thanks to them I saw the other (better - human, not monumental;-) sides of the cities.

Interests

My big life passion is dance. I trained ballet, Polish folk and national dances, ballroom dancing and jazz technique. In Poland I was a member of a folkloristic dance group, we used to travel a lot and give performances. The best mix I can imagine - travelling and dancing! I can't understand how I managed without dancing at the beginning of my stay in Dublin. Now I dance again - this time latino: salsa and bachata. And I've truly fallen in love with it!

Music, Movies, and Books

That hit your emotions... or calm down... or just take attention. It depends on a mood;-)
With music - I love folk and ethnic or ethnic inspirated music like Buena Vista Social Club, Cesaria Evora, fado and most of European folk music, especially Carpathian. I enjoy listening to many other genres but I'm quite old school and prefer acustic music. I can enjoy some operas and ballets... and Shakira. Latin music (salsa, merenque, bachata, kizomba) is something I love but I usually listen to it for dancing purpose.
After watching a movie, reading a book I want to think about it for a while (for instance: Pedro Almodovar, Milan Kundera, Paulo Coelho, Isabel Allende are very good ones for me).

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn Italian. In return we can practise English or Polish.
As a dance lover and dance instructor I'd love to teach Polish national and folkloristic dances. Anyone interested?;-)
To share? Opinions, experiences?;-) It might be salsa or bachata as well. I'm always very eager to go dancing latin.
