Overview
About Me
I'm a 28 year old graduate student at UC Berkeley, studying fisheries management and indigenous rights in New Zealand, where I've been based on and off for the past couple of years. I'm officially new to couchsurfing, but I've slept on many a couch through my travels, thanks to super generous people throughout the US and NZ, and I've hosted many travelers on my couches in Berkeley.
I'm into climbing, skiing, backpacking, camping, snorkling and at the end of the day I'm always keen to chill with a glass of wine or a local heady beer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Getting to know people from an area - and gaining their knowledge about cool outdoor adventures and local spots - is my favorite part about traveling.
Interests
Cooking spicy curries, climbing mountains, meeting new people, hanging out with friends, thinking about and studying how environmental policy and international trade regulations impact people locally.

Music, Movies, and Books
Bluegrass! Folk, funk, anything live. I love getting lost in Gabriel Garcia Marquez's stories, and one of my favorite movies is Spring Breakers. If you havent seen it, it's not what it seems.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Stroked an eel to sleep.
