ABOUT ME

Hi!

my name is Christina and I am a member of CouchSurfing since May 2011. In general, I consider myself friendly, open-hearted and (almost) always in a good-mood. Additionally a tiny, little bit of not worth mentioning curiosity appears and I seem to be a good example for the german straightforwardness - maybe being sometimes a little too outspoken ;)

Best experience ever has been my time in New Zealand. I have been there for 3 month, working on a farm and travelling the country. Here I first heard about couchsurfing and its fabulous possibilities as an exchange between cultures and meet local people in an foreign area.
Only negative aspect of my time at the other end of the world: I couldn't visit Australia as well, but thats definitely next on my list.

Summer 2012 I went travelling in Tanzania for a month, entering the african continent for the first time in my life. That definitely was an impressive and interesting time, which made me think about my ideology and privilidged life a lot. Returning to Ghana in 2013 just inflamed my love for Africa more.

I really enjoyed meeting people from all over the world while travelling. Its always delightened to learn different attitudes and views towards life caused by a different culture. I hope to continue with that through Couchsurfing.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone has a crazy gene. Allow yourself to show it to other people and they will show you theirs.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After returning to Berlin I want to offer a couch, if thats possible in my new flat.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Socialised a lot through courchsurfing, while being abroad. I've no surfing or hosting experiences so far,but I am sure a bunch of positive will follow!

兴趣

Music in all it's aspects: listing to, making myself, humming, whistleling and singing (btw you don't need a lyrics therefore, a melody is a songs heart ;)!
Dancing: already tried a few things like classic ballroom dancing, Latin dancing, Salsa, Maori Dancing, Zumba and enjoyed them all. Always open to new dancing experience (who cares what it looks like, as long its fun :D)
Honest conversations - what is more interesting than life? Yours, others, history, plans, I love to talk about everybody and their cat, what else for should we have a mouth?
Sports&Nature. I love to do outdoor sports like running, cycling, hiking, swimming and horse riding.

I loved nearly all books I read until now (a lot of fantasy stuff) and I am currently desperately searching for new good ones. So, if you have any recommendations, you're more than wellcome.
