Hi! Nice to meet you. I'm Heleen and I am a 23 year old. Currently I'm doing a masters in Costa Rica at UPEACE university. The topic of my masters is Sustainable Food Systems. In my free time, I'm developing my knowledge on organic farming, permaculture and the beautiful nature and wildlife that Costa Rica has to offer.

In general, I love travelling and actually got to visit several beautiful countries. I'm an outgoing, friendly person and am usually very flexible and it is no problem for me to adapt to new circumstances. I love learning about languages, culture and people. Although I have very little experience with couchsurfing I am pretty shure I will try to be a great host and an nice guest for you to have over. Let's meet soon!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that all the problems in the world can be solved when people start listening to eachother. Communication is very important in every aspect of life. Learning and sharing about your experience is one of the key elements of communication. To me, Couchsurfing is one of the platforms that enables many interesting people to get together, learn and have a great time in general.
