I'm currently pet sitting my way across Europe. I left North America in July 2019 and won't return until May 2020. My schedule so far includes France, England, Germany, Iceland, Italy, and Spain. At 40 years old I'm truly living my dream!

Sometimes I have a gap in between commitments and would like to explore somewhere new. I'm hoping to do some couch surfing and have amazing conversations, food, and maybe even mini-adventures with my hosts.

One day when I have a home again I'll be happy to host some folks and offer them the same in return.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love having experiences outside of the commercial economy. Who wants to monetize an act of kindness? Why is one type of labor or service worth more than another?

I also love making local connections. Yes, I'm a tourist, but I don't just want to take a selfie for Instagram. I want to get a feeling if how local people spend their time and what they value in life. Experiencing connection along with differences and similarities - that's what travel means to me.

Foodwise, I just learned how to make an amazing quiche! I'd be happy to cook for you or teach you to cook one yourself.

Around the house I can repair and alter clothes or help with the gardening. Or walk your dog or clip your cat's claws. After all, I am a professional pet sitter.
