About Me

Briefly, I'd describe myself as a self-exploring human being in love with beautiful colors and shapes (whatever "shape" may mean ^_^).
Presently I live on the coast of the Black Sea in Sochi (in the south of Russia, where the 2014 Olympic Games were held).
I'm planning on getting verified on Couchsurfing soon, but for the time being feel free to contact me on Facebook (Helen Gousseva) or skype (facebook:goussevahelen).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To help the world erase the borders

Interests

Err... Mostly just being alive :) Keeping the body healthy, enjoying good meals and good relationships; minimizing my impact to the environment (including people around), but helping out (when asked); reading zen stories, listening to the truth; watching my ego's twists and turns... Getting to understand the very core of being a human, unfold all the branches, flourish with blossoms, bear fruit and share it, the way we all do :)

Music, Movies, and Books

As for music, I can't say that I have any particular tastes, I just like it to be alive, vibrant and vigorous, like Amanda Palmer's artwork :)) Also intelligent and subtle, like Moby's harmonies. And poignant and excellently performed, like Jesus Christ Superstar of 1973. Or sometimes electrifying like the Prodigy's golden hits. You name it :)

Among the films that can help identify my preferences, I'd name "Harold & Maude" by Al Hashby, "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead" by Tom Stoppard and, I guess, "Seven Samurai" by Kurosava Akira.

Books... Well, I regularly fall in love with beautiful and clever texts, as they float into my life. The beacons in the sea of my favourite authors - as I now feel - are Mikhail Bulgakov and Alan W. Watts (just to vaguely outline the main streams :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

bought a really cool graphic tablet to draw manga-style illustrations to my adventures ^_^

Teach, Learn, Share

I can (and I do) teach English, yoga and sometimes painting.
I love learning, no matter what. Just love the very process.
I can share whatever I have (language assistance, a guided tour around town, paints, clothes, food, shelter, a washing machine, travel stories, laughter, tears, genuine interest, healthy distance... And some really good vegetarian recipes on top of that ;))

What I Can Share with Hosts

Assistance in getting a visa to Russia (send an invitation)

Being quite self-sufficient :)

Care and attention
