I'm much younger in spirit than years so I have many younger friends and while I am an extremely independent and capable woman (and responsible billpayer), I have retained my child-like wonder with the world. I am fun, energetic, adventurous and well travelled and desire to continue my travels and experience new things!

I'm no Helen Homemaker, do not want to be known as a domestic goddess, life is too short, as long as I have a clean bed and a clean home to come home to I'm good. Too much to do out in the world, I find if I'm never home I don't make a mess haha, however like myself, I like people who have high standards in personal hygiene and cleanliness, I'm cool about making messes but like to wake up to a clean environment when sharing space.

While I am a bit of a whizz in the kitchen and love gourmet food I am not a lover of mundane routine cooking so eating out is a fave thing to do. I love Thai and Vietnamese food, well actually I love every kind of cuisine. I'm keen to do planned dinner parties and cook outs/BBQ's as that's a fun communal thing.

I love to philosophise with friends and chat openly about our passions and what makes us get up each day. I love people that can laugh, remain positive in difficult situations and not rely on others to make decisions for them.
I am a person who is open to crazy spontaneous adventures with like-minded people.
I am an extremely passionate person, capable of deep committed love and loyal friendship, so if we become friends it's usually for life and we got each others back!

I love to question the world, and as ex-media I despise the sheeple mentality and oppose mainstream conservatism, I would hope you also have some other ideas to contribute rather than go along with what we are all sold.

I'm a born traveller, travel a lot and have been a host for many over the years in many ways through many avenues and now it's my turn to get back out there and finish off seeing the world where I left off.

I ended my 21 year marriage in 2011 and have re-evaluated my direction in life - I am a mother of seven, however 3 are adults and independent, 1 lives with his Dad, 1 lives with me when she is home and the 2 youngest go back and forth, so I'm often on my own with time and space to share.

I have plans to travel to the States again next year and to Europe later on and as I'm now mainly on my own I figure this was a great way to keep giving and paying it forward for when I seek the same.

I love all kinds of music however I'm a bit of a 60's/70's girl born 20 years too late so my old faves are The Doors, Led Zep, Stones, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Janis Joplin, Deep Purple, The Beatles, John Lennon, The Eagles, etc

I love Foo Fighters (because of Dave Grohl - will tell you my awesome Dave Grohl meeting story one day) Nirvana, Guns n Roses, The Black Crowes, AC DC, this list goes on forever, I love most music and even listen to classical and spiritual stuff, but Country is not really my thing.

Keeping fit and healthy after giving birth to 7 children and 4 months after 7th birth I became Ms October and featured in that month's Australian Health & Fitness Mag winning the Body Blitz 12 week body challenge that month in 2007.
(I am a Kickfitness instructor/fitness leader/massage therapist/body worker/breathworker etc.)
Became a Doula before I even knew what that was!
Left home at tender age of 14 to travel this big wide world
Won a $10,000 trip to New York - I win loads of stuff.
Ran festivals and events with a baby on my back!
Created flashmobs and community participation projects
Published my own magazine

I teach loads of stuff actually - if I don't know it I source it.
Mosaic Art or anything arty.

I CAN DO ANYTHING I PUT MY MIND TOO!

I am a master of none but definitely a jack of all trades describes me perfectly, I'm into everything, will give everything a go, have books on a variety of stuff.

I'd have another spare bedroom if it weren't stuffed with all my art supplies.
