ホストとして様々な国から来て旅行者と会いたい～

Last summer I took a four week trip around Japan. I went from Tokyo up the west coast all the way to Aomori and back down through Sendai towards Kansai area. I met so many amazing people hitch hiking, camping and couchsurfing ! It really showed me how much I love making new friends and meeting people from all over the country and hearing their stories. ♡

I recently moved down to Fukuoka for university and finally have my own place so I decided to become a host as well !! As I am new in Fukuoka, I don't know a lot of places yet, but I'd be super happy to go explore together 😇

I am practicing Japanese so I will be happy to speak Japanese with you, but I also speak English and German if you wanna practice those languages !!

I hope we can hang out together, maybe have a drink and good food 😍 I started working at craft beer bars about a year ago and through that I got interested in craft beer. I also find craft beer to be a great way to explore new places and see what the local beer is like so I am always down for grabbing a tasty fresh beer together !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing, because I travel to actually get to know a place. Rather than running from sightseeing spot to sightseeing spot, I prefer connecting with people and finding out what it is like to spend a life in the place I am visiting. I would love to hear about your life wherever you live.
As I host I hope I can invite kind people to my place and make genuine friends.

Interests

First of all, I love making memories and experiencing great things! That's why I love travelling and why I chose to travel by hitch hiking, couch surfing etc., I enjoy meeting people from all over the world, exchanging our views on culture, politics and interests. There are so many things to experience and learn out there !!

I also love concerts, because of the atmosphere ♡

Because I am mostly vegan, I cook a lot myself and also enjoy cooking for other people, because it makes me so happy to see people enjoy the food I cook for them. Food connects people I believe. I would love to cook together and exchange recipes.

In my undergrad I studied Engineering Science focusing on acoustics and this April I started my masters in Acoustic Design at Kyushu University - so I am a little nerd as well haha !

Currently really into Murakami Haruki and other Japanese authors ! I also LOVE Harry Potter (the books more than the movies though).

Apart from the languages I speak, I would also love to cook for you or cook together; discuss everything and nothing, books, science, art... the list is long !

For me making an effort to live sustainable is really important. I always try to question my own behavior and therefore for example really don't like flying, eating meat or using a lot of plastic. So I would enjoy sharing and learning more ways of living sustainable and environmentally friendly.
